“A Good Man is Hard to Find” #2

The event of the family wrecking, the Misfit encountering them, and the Grandmother identifying him was most likely the reason why the shootings occurred. After the Grandmother shrieked about knowing the Misfit, he clearly stated that “It would’ve been better for everyone if she hadn’t recognized him”, in the first place. And for that reason maybe he would’ve just helped them and not have them killed. It was entirely the Grandmother’s fault on why the wreck and killings happened.

While Bailey was driving through Georgia, he should have not turned down the dirt road like his mother and kids wanted him to. He should have not listened to the Grandmother, trying to be manipulative as possible. He could’ve kept straight to Florida and continued on their vacation without all being innocently murdered. The wreck also, could’ve been avoided if the Grandmother had not brought her cat along which made Bailey lose control of the car. The Grandmother personality and ignorant ways clearly had a justification for it.
